As climate change intensifies, it is more important than ever to build a more sustainable world. Many care deeply about this issue, but our daily lives get in the way of action. How might we overcome this barrier to a healthier planet? I collaborated with a team of fellow HCDE students to tackle this global problem.
Washington 211 usability testing
A team of HCDE students and a WA211 board member joined together to better understand the usability issues with WA211.org and recommend improvements so that all people could easily access and use the website.
Micro-business CRM and scheduler
Partnering with engineers and another UX designer for a bootcamp project, I discovered the unique concerns of a small business owner and delivered a product that allowed for business growth and enhanced customer service.
English language school web application
SpeakOut Bahrain is an English language school that helps children overcome economic barriers by providing English lessons. The school needed a means of collecting payments online and users needed to trust the payment process. Exploring cultural implications played an important part in my design process.
